Pam Goodman is an Eating Disorder and Addiction Specialist FDAP/UK/RN
She is a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Advocate with a profound personal journey through her own Eating disorder. Over the years, she has truly realised her passion and the potential to free individuals from the constant battel that is called Emotional /Binge Eating and Bulimia.
Pam has worked in this field for over 30 years and pioneered one of the first second stage of treatment for Eating disordered individuals in South Africa, guiding clients to make positive behaviour changes instead of weight orientated goals.
I am grateful to have had this conversation with Pam for the Joyful + Nourishment Podcast, which centres around her own lived experience and recovery journey.
*** There are mentions of eating disorder behaviours in this episode, but there are also plenty of mentions of things that Pam have done for herself and tools she use with clients to support them on their recovery path. Please use your own discretion to decide if this episode will be helpful or not for where you are right now. ***
