I've been astonished by the response I've had so far (15 interviews already booked in). My journalism background means I'm confident (enough) about the whole interviewing guests element but the TECH side is scaring me. I have my first guest booked in for 8.30am tomorrow so will leave the tech low tech for now and build up as I learn more and figure out exactly what I need. But am SO excited to be doing this. Did you record the whole season before releasing any? I have interviews booked in from tomorrow to September so figure I'll be done editing in September and can launch later then... maybe for the Equinox. And then additional guests can be added in later perhaps...
That’s amazing Eva!! I’ve kept mine pretty low tech. Recorded on Zoom and audio quality is ok. But of course could be better...!
I recorded the first season in a batch. 10 episodes. It’s been easy enough to edit and also to sync my Podcast here on Substack, where I’m hosting it, to all the major podcast platforms.
What has felt most time consuming is making show notes, graphics and uploading everything 🙈
My plans are for SE2, to start recording now and then be ready to roll those out every other week when SE1 is fully released. I don’t imagine these will be batch recorded.
I'm recording through Zoom and planning to host on Substack and upload the video version to YouTube then share reels and tiktoks etc from there...

For this round, I did no video bar 1, where the guest wanted it too share in their channels.
I’m currently very slow on my IG use but plan to just schedule audiograms there and then do some stories when each episode is live.
YT is another beast altogether. I will probably, eventually put stuff up there and these initial ones might be videos with a still image + the audio. But I’ve got so many other things to sort first before I can dedicate some proper time to sort out my YT channel.
I will also add them to my own website, with the hope that they’ll be helpful for SEO purposes.
I wish so had the money to pay a VA to do all the scheduling, postings & uploading but at the moment I don’t have the budget for it. Maybe/ hopefully/ eventually I will.
